Jon Gilpin

Jon joined BDO in 2017 as an Audit Partner in Birmingham, having spent 20 years at PwC. During his career Jon has worked with businesses across a range of industries but over the past 5 years has specialised in the manufacturing sector.

I grew up professionally auditing traditional ‘metal bashers’ in and around the Midlands, cutting my teeth on these heart-land businesses. I am now back firmly in the centre of the manufacturing in the UK being based in our Birmingham office. I provide audit services to my clients under a variety of different GAAPs, but focussing on UK GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS.

I work businesses under a range of ownership structures but tend to focus on those businesses under private equity or those that are listed either domestically or overseas.
