Acquisition of Exco InTouch Limited by eResearchTechnology Inc.

BDO has provided Tax advisory services on the sale of Exco InTouch Limited ("Exco") to eResearchTechnology Inc ("ERT"). 

ERT, is a US-based provider of patient safety and efficacy endpoint data collection solutions for use in clinical drug development and related consulting services, whilst Exco, is a Nottingham-based provider of patient engagement, data capture and digital health solutions.       

The acquisition will enable ERT to combine its science-driven solutions with patient-driven solutions. The combination will enable biopharmaceutical companies to turn to one company for all of their eCOA, patient engagement and commercialisation needs.
